In a shocking turn of events at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), what began as a peaceful anti-war protest erupted into violence, revealing deep-seated tensions and raising serious questions about justice and accountability.
A recent CNN investigation has uncovered the disturbing involvement of a pro-Israel group in a brutal assault on student protesters, shedding light on the darker side of campus activism.
A Mother’s Pride, A Son’s Violence
On a seemingly ordinary night at UCLA, 18-year-old Edon, a high school senior from Beverly Hills, became a central figure in a violent confrontation. Caught on camera striking a pro-Palestinian protester with a pole before joining a mob to pummel another man, Edon’s actions were later confirmed by his mother. In a surprising twist, she boasted about her son's participation on Facebook, proudly stating that he was defending himself. Edon is set to join the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soon, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
The attack on anti-war protesters at UCLA was brutal and unprovoked. Multiple student journalists were beaten and bloodied as Edon and other counter-protesters wielded poles and boards. Rabbi Chaim Seidler-Feller of UCLA’s Hillel watched the violence unfold and called 911, fearing for the lives of those involved. In a subsequent letter, the rabbi clarified that the violent actions did not represent the broader Jewish student community at UCLA, highlighting the need to separate the actions of a few from the many.
Silent Authorities, Unanswered Questions
Despite CNN's extensive efforts to contact the UCLA Police Department and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the investigation hit a wall of silence. Both departments deflected responsibility, with the LAPD referring inquiries back to UCLA Police, who remained unresponsive. This lack of accountability raises serious concerns about the protection of students and the enforcement of justice.
This incident underscores the urgent need for universities and law enforcement to address and prevent such violence. The presence of outside agitators at campus protests complicates the issue, often turning peaceful demonstrations into battlegrounds. Ensuring the safety of all students, particularly those advocating for Palestinian rights, is crucial.
As the investigation continues, it is imperative that justice is served and that those responsible for the violence are held accountable. The voices of the anti-war protesters, advocating for Palestinian rights, must not be drowned out by the brutality of a few. This incident should serve as a wake-up call for greater vigilance, accountability, and protection of fundamental rights on college campuses nationwide.
It brings to mind the way the Zionist Army and Police, protect the violent and rampaging, fanatical settlers, in the unlawfully occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. Of course, the American Police are trained by the Zionist Genocidal Forces.
The Hillel Rabbi - doesn't strike me as being innocent in this story... What was he doing at the crime scene, at the late night hours, when the attacks started? This was a protest thar he no doubt opposes. Did he try to use his leadership to direct the followers on his 'side' to refrain from their violent and unprovoked attacks? Or did he just cleverly file a police report, to establish an alibi - knowing that the cops weren't going to interfere?
I saw the Grayzone did some investigative work, exposing the Zionist thugs. The Zionists groups, both from on and off campus, had paid big money to the University, to stage a Counter-Protest, right next to the encampment, on the Sunday before the Tuesday night Pogrom. One guy committing textbook breaches of the peace, and olfactory assaults (spitting on people) - trying to provoke a violent response from the protestors of the nonviolent encampment - was a professional fighter. He was seemingly in the company of a less fit-and-trained agitator and provocateur, whom I had taken pictures and video of the day before, as he orbited the protest area, apparently casing the security response to provocations. https://imgflip.com/i/8pf7jm he's the Jonah Hill-looking guy, in at least one of these frames.
This looks to me to be an elaborate Criminal Conspiracy Against Rights, and probably an Intelligence Operation. The UCLA PD had requested backup from other Campuses nearby - but then cancelled the request, from what I saw in the LA Times. The Campus cops directed questions to the Administration. The Chancellor (soon to retire) seems to have been acting along the lines of a National Model, used repeatedly. He refused to negotiate with the protestors in good faith. The wanted transparency, divestiture and boycotting of all ties between UCLA and the Zionist Entity, and others involved in the Genocide. He granted the permits, for the Sunday counter-protest - which shouldn't have been allowed to occur in such close proximity to the other protest. He appears to have aided the Tuesday into Wednesday attacks on the protest encampment, by standing-down the police response. The LA Mayor and Police command were likely involved, actively, as well. That violence on Tuesday night, was used to justify a Chancellor Block declaring that the peaceful protest encampment, was an "Unlawful Assembly" - which allowed for the multi-agency police attack, on the night of Wednesday into the early morning of Thursday.
But nobody had been charged with a crime, aside from the peaceful protestors - until quite recently. Now ONE of the dozens of Zionist attackers has been charged - and then granted bail - despite him being a significant flight risk. I guarantee that the charges he faces, are far less than what they should have been.
